Services

Senior experts from your first workshop to go-live, and beyond.

Pulse & Patterns helps organizations across Europe get real business results from ServiceNow and Anthropic Claude. Five service lines cover the whole journey: Advisory, Discovery, Implementation, Managed Services and Enablement. You can start with whichever one fits your problem today. The same senior team stays with you throughout.

Why us

Why organizations choose Pulse & Patterns

You work with senior practitioners from the first conversation to the last day of the engagement. There is no account layer, no junior bench and no handover to a team you have never met. We tell you what we honestly think, we write our reasoning down, and we stay accountable for the result.

01

Senior experts, every day.

Pulse & Patterns was founded in 2025 by practitioners with multiple decades of experience in enterprise platforms and business transformation. Every person on your engagement is a senior expert in their field. The people who scope your work are the people who design it and build it.

02

Honest advice, even when the answer is smaller.

Advice is scoped and paid for separately from any build. So we can recommend doing less, switching on a capability you already own, or fixing the data first, without any reason to steer you toward a bigger project. Honest advice is part of the product.

03

Decisions that last.

Which system is the system of record. Whether a process should be redesigned before it is automated. What a design means for your licensing. We make those calls with you and write down why, so the decision still holds after the next reorganization.

04

Support that continues after go-live.

We plan who will run what we build before the project ends, and we build your team’s capability as we go. When you want ongoing support, the people who know your platform provide it.

How we work with you

What working with us looks like, from the first call to ongoing support

Every engagement follows the same principle: one senior team, clear agreements and no surprises. You know who is responsible, what each stage delivers and what happens next. The people you meet in the first conversation stay with you through design, build, go-live and beyond.

01

A first conversation with a senior expert.

You describe the decision you cannot make or the thing that is not moving. We tell you which service line fits, or that you do not need one yet.

02

A scoped agreement.

Clear deliverables and acceptance criteria for each piece of work, so you buy what you need and nothing you do not.

03

Design and build, with your team.

Your people take part in the workshops and the decisions. We document the reasoning as we go.

04

Go-live and hypercare.

We support the capability through the contracted hypercare period, and we hand over to people who are ready to run it.

05

Ongoing support, if you want it.

Managed Services and Enablement keep the platform working and your team growing, delivered by people who already know your environment.

Where to start

Start with the decision you are facing

You do not have to start at the beginning. Most organizations come to us with a live problem in the middle of the journey. Find the row that sounds like your situation this week. Each one leads to the service that settles it, and none of them requires earlier work with us.

The platform was not implemented the way you needed, it cannot take the next vendor release, or AI does not work on it

Enterprise Architecture →

What to fix, what to keep, and what AI needs to run

More initiatives than capacity, and no agreed order

Roadmapping →

What to fund, and in what sequence

Everyone expects something from AI and nobody can say what

AI Use Case Discovery →

Which AI opportunities are real

The strategy still has to be set, or it is clear the organization is not changing

Transformation Partner →

The strategy, and who holds the change together

Roles and responsibilities are unclear, decisions take too long, and several teams do parts of the same work with no shared direction

Operating Model Design →

Who owns what across strategy, products, processes, people and systems

The process breaks between teams and systems

Business Process Consulting and Design →

How the work should actually run

You know what you need or want to build and need it built properly

Implementation →

The capability itself

It is live, and running it is the problem

Managed Services →

Who runs it, and how

Your team cannot use what you already own

Enablement →

Capability in your own people

The EU AI Act landed on someone’s desk

EU AI Act Readiness →

What obligations apply, and to whom

If none of those fits, tell us in a first conversation.

A senior expert will listen, ask the right questions and point you to the service that fits.

01 · Advisory

Advisory: decide what your organization should become

Advisory sets the direction before anyone builds. We help you settle the platform and AI strategy, the operating model, the processes, the architecture and your regulatory readiness. You get clear decisions with the reasoning written down, so every later investment builds on a foundation your leadership has agreed.

Operating Model Design

Aligns strategy, products, processes, people and systems, so it is clear who owns what and decisions get made.

Operating Model Design →

Enterprise Architecture

Decides which system holds what and how they connect, and brings an existing platform back to a state that takes vendor releases and supports AI.

Enterprise Architecture →

02 · Discovery

Discovery: know what to fund first, and why

Discovery turns an unclear ambition into an agreed order of work. It is paid, independent work that ends in a prioritized recommendation with a business case and the reasoning attached. That includes what we recommend you do not build, so your budget goes where it creates the most value.

Roadmapping

When there are more initiatives than capacity and no agreed order. You get a funded sequence the organization can commit to.

Roadmapping →

AI Use Case Discovery

When AI is the pressure. You get the use cases worth pursuing, the data and process foundations they need, and the order to tackle them.

AI Use Case Discovery →

The output is yours. Take it to any implementation partner you choose.

03 · Implementation

Implementation: capability built properly, on the right platform

Implementation builds the agreed capability so it works against your real data, your team can operate it, and the decisions behind it are documented. We build on ServiceNow for orchestration, workflow and governance, and on Anthropic Claude for the intelligence. Senior practitioners do the design and the build.

WHAT YOU GAIN

A capability accepted against clear criteria, not a demo. Configuration that stays close to standard, so you can take vendor releases. Integrations that connect the systems that stay where they are. And AI agents that run inside governed processes. We build and run agents in our own operations and in client environments.

03 Forward Deployed Engineer

A senior engineer working alongside your team, accountable for a named outcome, with direct access to the people who decide. A PxP-side lead owns every change.

Forward Deployed Engineer →

04 · Managed Services

Managed Services: keep what you built working and improving

Managed Services decides who runs what has been built, before the project ends rather than after it. We can own the platform with you, keep named solutions working, operate your AI governance or lead your AI decisions. You get continuity from people who already understand your environment and the reasons behind its design.

Platform Governance

A senior owner for your ServiceNow platform, its roadmap and its releases.

Platform Governance →

Most organizations need one or two of these. Some need none yet, and we will tell you which.

Not sure which service line fits?

A senior expert will point you to the one that does.

05 · Enablement

Pulse & Patterns Enablement: make your own team capable

A capability your team cannot use is a capability you do not have. Pulse & Patterns Enablement builds lasting skills in your own people for ServiceNow and for Anthropic Claude. Handover is already part of every implementation. Enablement makes adoption a program of its own, with materials your team keeps.

WHAT YOU GAIN
Teams who use what you already pay for. Less dependence on outside help, including on us. Faster adoption of new capability. And people who can govern and improve AI safely, not just use it.

How they connect

Where each service line stops

Clear boundaries protect your budget. Each service line has its own job and its own agreement, so you always know who decides what, and you can buy each piece on its own.

Advisory decides what should change and why.

→

Implementation makes the change exist.

Advisory decides what your organization should become.

→

Discovery decides which use cases to work on, and in what order.

Discovery decides what is worth building and what ready means.

→

Implementation builds the agreed capability.

Implementation ends when the agreed capability is accepted, deployed and supported through the contracted hypercare period.

→

Managed Services begins when you choose an ongoing operating model for what has been built.

Enablement runs alongside all of it, because capability transfer that waits until the end does not happen.

What we work on

Three areas of operations, not a product list

We organize our work around where value is lost: between selling, serving and delivering, rather than inside any one of them. When those areas connect on one operating backbone, an improvement in one is no longer canceled out by a gap in another.

01

Commercial operations.

Marketing engagement, the opportunity, the quote, the order, and what happens after acceptance.

02

Customer operations.

The case, the customer’s actual entitlement and history, and the work that resolves it.

03

Project operations.

Professional services automation that plans, staffs and bills client projects, and idea to product, which takes software from first idea to release.

And across all three: the integrations that connect systems staying where they are, and governed AI inside the processes rather than beside them.

Business strategy × People × Processes × Technology × Data × AI = Value Multiplied™

Each factor multiplies the others, so a weak one limits the whole. That is why our senior teams work across all six, not just the technology.

Who we work with

Who we work with

We work with mid-market and upper mid-market organizations across Europe, with a focus on Germany, Austria and Switzerland. They are large enough that work crosses departmental boundaries and nobody owns the whole process, and they value direct access to senior people who can reach the decision makers.

01

Technology service providers and IT system houses

02

Software companies

03

Telecommunications and infrastructure

04

Energy and utilities

05

Private-equity portfolio companies

06

Manufacturing

What matters more than the sector is whether the outcome has an owner outside the technology function.

That single fact predicts more about whether a program succeeds than industry, size or platform maturity.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions, answered.

Will the same people stay with us throughout the engagement?
›

Yes. The senior practitioners you meet in the first workshop are the ones who design and build the work, and they stay through go-live. There is no account layer and no handover to a delivery team you have not met. If you choose Managed Services afterwards, the people who support you already know your platform and the reasons behind its design.

Where should we start if we do not know what we need?
›

With a conversation about the decision you cannot currently make, rather than with a service. Most engagements begin at one of two entry points: Roadmapping, if there are more initiatives than capacity and no agreed order, or AI Use Case Discovery, if AI is the pressure. If the real problem is that nobody owns the outcome, that is an operating model question and Advisory is the right start.

Do we have to use all five service lines?
›

No. Each service line is scoped and bought on its own, so you only pay for what you need. If you only need something built, buy Implementation. If you only need a decision, buy Discovery and take the output wherever you like. One engagement never commits you to the next.

What is the difference between advisory work and a discovery engagement?
›

Advisory decides what your organization should become: the strategy itself where it is still open, the operating model, who owns what, how the process should run, and which systems hold what. Discovery decides which use cases to work on and in what order, and produces a prioritized recommendation with a business case behind it. Advisory can change what should be built at all. Discovery assumes the direction and sequences the investment.

Can you take over a platform somebody else implemented?
›

Yes, and it is a common starting point. How a takeover works is covered on Implementation.

How do you charge for this?
›

Differently by service line, because the work is different. Advisory and discovery are scoped engagements with their own deliverables and acceptance, independent of any build. Implementation is a defined capability with acceptance criteria. Managed services is an ongoing arrangement. We price each engagement once we understand your scope, so the number you get is one we can stand behind.

What technology do you work with?
›

ServiceNow for orchestration, workflow and governance, and Anthropic Claude for the intelligence. We are a ServiceNow Consulting & Implementation and Resell Partner and an Anthropic Claude Consulting & Implementation Partner. We design for a multi-model architecture rather than forcing every use case onto one model, and part of our advisory work is deciding what should stay in the systems you already have.

Do you work with organizations outside German-speaking Europe?
›

Yes. We work across Europe, with a focus on Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where our language and market knowledge add the most. We work in English and German, and we take on engagements wherever the problem fits what we do.

How quickly can you start?
›

We agree a start date with you that we can hold, and the senior people you meet are the people who start the work. We do not win work first and staff it later with whoever is free.
